This bipartisan bill responds to the challenges California and states across the country faced when trying to access critical medical supplies during the height of the COVID-19 crisis. The bill would reduce America’s dependence on foreign sources of critical medical supplies the country needs to fight COVID-19, make much-needed improvements and updates to America’s Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), and help boost domestic manufacturing to make those supplies here in America.

Tuesday, September 22nd, Representative Gilbert R. Cisneros, Jr. (CA-39) and co-sponsors of the Strengthening America’s Strategic National Stockpile Act will hold a press conference at the House Triangle to discuss their bipartisan legislation to overhaul the Strategic National Stockpile after its unanimous passage on Monday evening.
