Orange County Sanitation District Public Hearing

Description

A public hearing is being held in regards to Orange County Sanitation District's (OCSD) new proposed fees.

In order to cover costs of projected inspections, repairs, operations, maintenance, debt services, and reserves required for OCSD's regional collection and treatment system, a rate increase has been proposed. Property owners within OCSD's service areas pay for these services via regional sewer service fees and other sources of income such as property tax revenues. More information on the how the rates are set can be found at www.ocsd.com.

Individuals owning property within the sewer service area may show their support or protest at the public hearing.
