Free Thursday Matinees at the Fullerton Public Library - The Wizard of Oz

The Fullerton Public Library’s Thursday Matinee film series offers a free classic movie each week. The selected films are usually chosen with a theme in mind, often representing a popular genre, actor, director, or subject. For April, the theme is “Realms of Fantasy.” The selected films are:

•             The Wizard of Oz (1939, PG)                                      April 5
•             Thor: Ragnarok (2017, PG-13)                                    April 12
•             Kong: Skull Island (2017, PG-13)                                April 19
•             Wonder Woman (2017, PG-13)                                   April 26
 
All films in the Thursday Matinee film series are screened in the library’s Osborne Auditorium and begin at 1:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own light snacks and covered beverages, but alcohol is not allowed. Registration is not required and all film screenings are free of charge.
The library is located at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton. Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the program are asked to notify library staff prior to screening time.
