Description

CMTA and the Manufactuers' Accountability Project hosts a roundtable discussion on California climate lawsuits on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Irvine Marriott.

The discussion marks the one-year anniversary of the first public nuisance-based climate lawsuits in California. The roundtable will include discussion of the latest developments in the litigation, the misguided legal theory that trial attorneys are using and how these lawsuits do little to address the problem of climate change.  Lunch will be served

Special Speakers include:

  • Don Wagner, Mayor of City of Irvine
  • Tim Shaw, Mayor of City of La Habra
