Join the Stanton Business Alliance at Park Ave. Restaurant (11200 Beach Blvd., Stanton) on Tuesday, April 26 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the quarterly business luncheon networking mixer.
Guest speaker, Terri Olson, will be discussing new human resource laws that impact businesses, which include, California minimum wage increases through 2022 and their impact on exempt status, the California Fair Pay Act (amendment to the Equal Pay Act), paid sick leave, Family School Partnership Act, and Workers’ Compensation coverage expansion for immigrants.
Olson is a human resources consultant and the founder of HR Prescriptions, a human resource management and consulting firm.
