Description

Southern California's Largest Business Development and Procurement Event of the Year. Join SBA and its partner network for an exciting day of presentations, workshops, matchmaking and business development opportunities.

Confirmed matchmaking participants include:

Department of General Services

Department of General Services (GSA) received a rating of A from SBA’s FY2016 Small Business Procurement Scorecard.  GSA exceeded all of their small business goals for the year which amounted to $1.6B in small business contracts and another $19B in subcontracts. GSA implemented the “Making It Easier” initiative to offer a more efficient and straightforward process for small business and companies new to the federal market. GSA also launched the GSA Forecast Tool, a GSA-engineered product, to make it easier for small business vendors to find potential contracting opportunities with the Federal Government.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Los Angeles District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) fully supports the government’s policy of placing a fair proportion of our contracts with qualified small, small disadvantaged, woman‐owned, HUBZone, veteran‐owned and service‐disabled veteran‐owned business concerns. The USACE surpassed 4 of the 6 small business goals in FY 2016 which amounted to $1.4B in prime contracts awarded to small business. The Los Angeles district had a budget of $483M in 2016.

Last year's conference attracted more than 36 corporate and government sector buyers and drew more than 450 attendees. This year's event is expected to be even bigger and better!
