DESCRIPTION:Tips on how to introduce worms into home composting systems will be the focus of a special free workshop on home composting set for Saturday\, Jan. 7.\n\n\n\nThe workshop\, cosponsored by the City of Fullerton and the Fullerton Arboretum\, will begin at 10 a.m. at the arboretum\, 1900 Associated Road\, on the campus of California State University\, Fullerton.\n\nThe 90-minute workshop will focus on how worms in composting systems can produce a rich "fluffy" soil that works wonders in gardens.\n\n\n\nClass instructor will be Patrick McNelly\, retired principal staff analyst for the Orange County Sanitation District\, and recipient of the nationally recognized H. Clark Gregory Award for Outstanding Grassroots Efforts to Promote Composting.\n\n\n\nThe workshop is free to Fullerton residents.  In addition\, discount vouchers for the purchase of state-of-the-art compost bins will be available for Fullerton residents.  Limit one per household. \n\nRegistration for the workshop and further information may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Arboretum at (657) 278-3407.\n\n\n\nPersons requiring special accommodations to attend the workshop are asked to notify the arboretum staff when registering.
