SUMMARY:Water Rater Study Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Water Rate Study Ad Hoc Committee will hold a second public meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday\, June 30\, in the Council Chamber of Fullerton City Hall\, 303 W. Commonwealth Ave.\n\n The 14-member Water Rate Study Ad Hoc Committee is composed of members of the public\, as well as representatives of the city's Energy and Resource Management Committee and the Transportation and Circulation Commission.\n\n Dave Schickling\, water system manager for the city\, said the water rate study was prompted by the prospect of insufficient funds in the city budget to meet the rising costs of needed improvements to the city's water infrastructure (pipelines\, reservoirs\, pump station equipment and wells).\n\n The results of the study and the proposed water rate increases are expected to be brought to the City Council in July.\n\n Further information about the June 30 meeting or the water rate study may be obtained by calling the Office of Water Engineeringat Fullerton City Hall at (714) 738-6845.\n\n Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the June 30 meeting are asked to notify the Office of Water Engineering staff prior to the meeting.
