DESCRIPTION:Congressman Lou Correa would like to honor and celebrate all Vietnam War-period veterans at a pinning ceremony in the 46th District. The event will be held at the Anaheim High School Gymnasium on Friday\, March 29\, 2019\, at 4:00 p.m.\n\nThe commemorative event will include the presentation of a Service Lapel Pin and other tributes to publicly thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families on behalf of the nation. The pinning ceremony is open to all who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of Nov. 1\, 1955\, to May 15\, 1975\, regardless of duty location.\n\nSpecial Lapel Pins are also available for: 1) former\, living POWs or\, if deceased\, their surviving spouse\; 2) immediate family members of Missing In Action\; 3) immediate family members of Killed-in-Action\; and 4) a post-war deceased Vietnam Veteran's surviving spouse. Those who qualify for these family-member lapel pins are asked to contact Congressman Correa's office as soon as possible to ensure the pin is received by March 29.\n\nThe public is welcome to attend the March 29 ceremony to help provide the "Welcome Home" our Vietnam Veterans did not receive 50 years ago. A prompt RSVP is encouraged.
