DESCRIPTION:The City of Fullerton is teaming with the Fullerton Arboretum to present a free public workshop on home composting Saturday\, March 24\, at the Arboretum.\n\n	\n\n	The workshop\, "Home Composting I\," is designed for beginners to composting. \n\n	The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. \n\n	\n\n	The 90-minute workshop will offer such hands-on demonstrations as composting\, mulching and "grasscycling\," as well as instructions on what can and cannot be composted\, potential problems to be on the alert for\, and how to make a home composting bin.\n\n	\n\n	The workshop will be taught by Dr. Bill Roley\, director of the Permaculture Institute of Southern California.\n\n	The Fullerton Arboretum has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for its "GreenScapes" activities\, including its commitment to providing outstanding composting classes. \n\n	\n\n	The workshop is free to Fullerton residents.  In addition\, discount vouchers for the purchase of state-of-the-art compost bins will be available for Fullerton residents.  Limit one per household. \n\n	\n\n	Registration for the workshop and further information may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Arboretum at (657) 278-3407.\n\n	Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the workshop are asked to notify the Arboretum staff when registering.
