DESCRIPTION:The Fullerton City Council and Fullerton Public Library invite you to the Main Library Dedication and Celebration.\n\nActivities are planned for the whole family\, including author book signings\, raffles\, a children's puppet show\, and a performance by Grammy Award-nominated singer Zak Morgan. \n\n\n\nThe ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 10 a.m.\, with the Main Library re-opening for activity immediately after. \n\n\n\nThe $10 million expansion project added:  two state-of-the-art meeting rooms\;  a caf  space\;  a used books store for the Friends of the Library\, the proceeds of which will support the library\;  and group study rooms.\n\n\n\nThe expansion also added a teen space\, and a greatly expanded Local History Room\, which will provide for the preservation and care of the library's treasure trove of vintage Fullerton's photos and artifacts. \n\n\n\nThe Library expansion/renovation project was made possible through redevelopment bond funds issued by the Fullerton Redevelopment Agency. These restricted funds can only be used for infrastructure and capital improvement projects.\n\n\n\nFurther information about the opening festivities or the expansion project may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Main Library at (714) 738-6388.
