DESCRIPTION:"Framing Julius Shulman:  Architect of Images and Imaginations" will feature as guest speaker Anne Blecksmith\, head of Getty Research Institute Digital Services\, who was at the Getty during Shulman's last years.  She is an expert on the photographer's work\, as well as on the personality and genius behind the camera.\n\n\n\nThe program\, which is being presented in conjunction with the museum's new exhibit\, "Julius Shulman:  Desert Modern\," will be held at 1 p.m. \n\n\n\n"Julius Shulman:  Desert Modern\," which will run through July 17\, documents efforts by architects to marry their designs to the stark landscape in the desert around the Palm Springs area.  The collection of approximately 100 color and black-and-white photos in the exhibit features buildings by such renowned architects as Richard Neutra\, John Lautner and A. Quincy Jones.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPersons requiring special accommodations to attend the program or view the exhibit are asked to notify the center staff prior to coming to the Fullerton Museum Center at (714) 738-6545.
