DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This class will be a hands on class\, please bring a laptop for full participation. \n\n\n\nThis training is intended for those with experience using EnergyPro 7 software to document Title 24 Compliance. The instructor\, Martyn Dodd\, will discuss new requirements under the 2016 Standards and how to enter required information. Through hands-on demonstration of the software\, he will describe approaches to accurately create a compliance model in a time-effective manner. He will discuss questions frequently asked by experienced users and\, to the extent time allows\, will respond to specific questions from class participants.\n\n\n\nThe training assumes experience with and knowledge of Title 24 and the residential compliance process. For reference\, see the Title 24 2016 Residential Compliance Manual\, available at http://www.energy.ca.gov/title24/2016standards/residential_manual.html . You may also be interested in the Title 24 Essentials classes listed at http://energycodeace.com/training .\n\n\n\nAt the conclusion of the training:\n\n	Participants have an intermediate level understanding of how rules-based\, energy analysis software is used to model performance and compliance under California's Title 24 residential building energy standards.\n	Participants have an overview of time-effective methods to accurately create a compliance model.\n	Participants have learned answers to questions frequently asked by intermediate level energy modelers and have gained an understanding to assist them to avoid the most common compliance modeling pitfalls.\n	Participants have gained an understanding of new compliance modeling requirements under the 2016 California Title 24 Energy Standards and how to enter the required information in EnergyPro. \n\n*Course qualifies for BOC maintenance of certification points toward BOC Level I or Level II credential.
