Check-in is 11:00-11:30.\n\n \n\nPrior to joining Cal State Fullerton\, Dr. Farka worked as a senior economist for Deutsche Bank\, New York\, where she was responsible for developing economic forecast models for the US and global economies. \n\n\n\nDr. Farka received her Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University\, New York\, with concentration in financial economics\, monetary policy\, and applied macroeconomics. She has published in leading academic journals and has received numerous awards for her research. She was also named the 2013 Outstanding Faculty for the College of Business and Economics.
