You are invited to attend a free Small Business Tax presentation by an enrolled agent who is speaking on behalf of the IRS.
Learn how to:
- Verify an employee's identity and status with proper docume0ntation;
- Withhold federal taxes at the proper withholding or treaty rate;
- Deposit and pay the tax withheld properly; and
- File accurately and timely the withholding tax returns
John Rumbold of Rumbold Tax Advisory presents this workshop. John has worked as a tax preparer and adviser for fourteen years. Currently, he is a tax practitioner at Rumbold Tax Advisory, responsible for tax preparation and tax planning for individuals and business entities. He also works part-time for a tax audit defense company, representing taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS and state taxing agencies. Prior to forming his own tax practice in 2006, he worked as a tax specialist at H&R Block for seven years.
Rumbold holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Haven and a master's in business administration from the University of Phoenix, and is an enrolled agent and certified financial planner.
