Description
The “Live S.A.F.E. Community Fair” will close out a three-month safety awareness campaign sponsored by the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department, with the assistance of its community partner groups. Aaron Orozco, recreation supervisor, said the campaign grew out of a concern that children are not getting the necessary instruction on how to handle such basic real life issues as what to do in a fire or how to protect themselves when out on the street.
Activities:
Student performances, prizes, and displays/activities by community partners, including the Fullerton Police and Fire departments, Fullerton School District, North Orange County YMCA, Fullerton Aquatics Swim Team and the Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton.
