DESCRIPTION:Centralia Elementary School District is offering free American Sign Language (ASL) classes for the community from January 22 through April 30\, 2026. Classes take place on Thursday evenings from 6:00 7:30 PM at Raymond Temple Elementary School.\n\nThis program includes 13 in-person sessions taught by Deaf instructors\, with English and Spanish interpreters provided for Beginning ASL. Courses are designed for learners new to ASL as well as those ready to build conversational skills.\n\n\n	\n	Beginning ASL covers the alphabet\, basic phrases\, vocabulary\, and Deaf culture\n	\n	\n	Intermediate ASL focuses on conversation\, grammar\, vocabulary\, and Deaf culture\n	\n\n\nTo support families\, student supervision is provided for children ages 3 and up\, with limited capacity and priority given to DHH families.\n\nSpace is limited and advance registration is required. Join us for an engaging and inclusive learning experience that builds communication\, connection and community.
